The Sandalwood Club Association, Inc.

The Sandalwood Club Association, Inc. is a condominium, incorporated as a non-profit under the Florida Statutes, Chapter(s) 617 and 718 (The Condominium Act). The complex is comprised of eighty (80) living units, Clubhouse, Swimming Pool, Heated Spa, and a Laundry.

The Association maintains “Fully Funded Reserves”. The Board of Directors (Elected Managing Partners) holds monthly Board of Director’s meetings as needed, which are generally held on the fourth (4th) Monday of the month. These meetings are noticed in advance by a posting on the Community Bulletin Board. Membership meetings are held at least one (1) time each year, usually in November, for the purpose of electing Directors and conducting other important business which requires approvals of the membership (Business Partners).

The Board of Directors is comprised of five (5) Directors with staggered terms. The Association’s fiscal year is from January 1st thru December 31st and the Annual Budget Adoption Meeting for the ensuing year is typically held during the Month of October.

Sandalwood is a “Rental Restricted Community”. There is a cap on the number of units that can be rented at any one time. All Sales and Leases require a completed application, along with all pertinent documents and an application administrative fee, to be delivered to the Board of Directors. No Sale or Lease can be executed until the Board has received the completed forms, reviewed the information, conducted an interview, and signed off on the application.

The Board makes every effort to enforce the Documents of the Association, Association’s Rules and Regulations, and comply with Florida law. Owner and Renter vehicles must be registered. Guests must have a “Guest Parking Pass.” Vehicles in violation of said Rules and Regulations are ticketed and towed, if needed.

A number of forms are located both inside the front door of the clubhouse and in the Laundry Room. These forms are used for submitting maintenance requests, complaints, obtaining a parking pass for a guest, registering residents’ vehicles, renting the clubhouse for parties, and others as needed.

The Association Office is normally open on Mondays from 9 am to 11 am and on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm for helping residents and owners and conducting association business.
